GARMIN PARTNERS WITH ORC DOUBLEHANDED EUROPEANS
The organisers of the 2025 ORC Doublehanded European Championship are proud to announce that Garmin® continues to support ORC sailing followed by its successful Gold Sponsorship of the 2024 ORC European Championship in Mariehamn, Åland.

As a leading innovator in GPS technology and marine electronics, Garmin will provide detailed course information for both the long and short offshore races, and celebrate the champions in all three official classes with Garmin quatix® 7 Pro Sailing and GPS smartwatches. Additionally, temporary race marks will be added to the Garmin Navionics® chart database during the event.
The organisers are more than thrilled to continue the partnership with Garmin as the co-operation extends beyond the office to the race area. In Mariehamn Iiro Kinnanen from Garmin Nordic Finland assisted the event organisation from preparations to the race course. Also the Weather Routing brief followed by a technical presentation by Team Pro4you was organised by Garmin to support the preparations for the long offshore race.

The European championship will feature three classes, and all the class winners will be awarded with Quatix 7 Pro GPS Smart Watches.
Class A: APH from 418.0 – 517.9 s/NM
Class B: APH from 518.0 – 557.9 s/NM
Class C: APH from 558.0 – 630.0 s/NM
In addition to the classes divided by CDL limits prices provided by the organizing authority will be awarded to the best Female, Mixed Offshore and Male teams. The early entry fee (550 €) is valid until 1st of May!

The ORC Doublehanded European Championship 2025 will bring together the best shorthanded teams from Northern Europe, the Baltics, and beyond. HSK as one of the most esteemed racing harbours in Finland is set to provide excellent facilities serving the needs of shorthanded sailors. The marina infrastructure provides all basic services from 24/7 saunas and showers to the designated restaurant and all the sailors services from equipment stores to sail-lofts and hauling services within a couple of minutes walking distance.
